No Return Until Liberation

As a Palestinian artist from a refugee camp in Lebanon, my participation in this mural holds deep personal and collective significance. This mural represents not only my voice but the voices of millions of Palestinians forcibly uprooted from our homeland, fighting for freedom and the inevitability of our return, in shaa Allah, to all of Palestine, covering 27,027 square kilometers, by all means. My Deen commands me to fight against oppression, and being a Palestinian gives me the right and duty to defend my country, Alhamdulillah.

Through this artwork, we seek to honor the resilience of our prisoners who continue to fight for their dignity and freedom, often from the confines of zionist prisons, while also symbolizing the unwavering Palestinian demand for return. The key featured in the mural serves as a universal symbol of the inevitability, in shaa Allah, of our return to the homes we were forced to leave behind, while, the spoons reflect the Alhamdulillah unconquerable spirit of our prisoners, reminding the world of their strength, their creativity, and their firm determination to break free from the chains of occupation.

This mural is a tribute to the unbreakable bond between the Palestinian people and our land—no matter how forcibly uprooted we have been, our connection to Palestine remains steadfast. “No Return Till Liberation” is not just a statement, but, in shaa Allah, a promise. We will, in shaa Allah, continue our fight until every Palestinian returns to a free and united Palestine.
